Gas Connections is comprised of 3 separate businesses servicing the natural gas market. Rathmines Gas was established in 1994, prior to this the company was a heating installer since 1980. The company expanded and have a second showroom North Kildare Gas, based in Maynooth and a Gas Wise service centre based in Tallaght, which covers Dublin and the surrounding counties. Gas Connections carry a wide range of fires, fireplaces, stoves, and cookers. They also offer central heating consultation, installation and service.
The Challenge:
Gas Connections needed to gain better control over their fleet and improve operational efficiencies. They wanted to reduce overtime costs through increasing productivity. Reducing vehicle idling times was also important in reducing fuel costs.
